Church-wide Fun in the Sun

This summer we will have many fun activities for everyone!

Lunch in the Lot

On July 3, right after church, we will have lunch together at the picnic tables next to the rear exit (close to playground).  We will provide drinks so bring a picnic lunch for your family, some lawn chairs and join in the fun!

Tuesdays at the Pool

We will be at Alex Haley pool from 4-7pm every Tuesday night, starting on July 5th, during the summer.  There are picnic tables and shaded areas so join us and bring a picnic dinner.  Admission for the pool is $2.50 per person or you can buy a family pass (very reasonable) for the entire summer in the GIAC building.  You can also purchase small snacks and popsicles for a small price as well.  If it rains on a Tuesday, we’ll be there on Thursday instead.

Grilling on the Gravel

Following the church service on August 14, we will grill burgers and hot dogs and serve lunch after the service (donations accepted).  Meet outside the Kingdom Kids entrance across from the playground.  All you need to bring is a chair.  If possible, please RSVP to Taryn at by Wednesday August 10th (for shopping purposes).  However, if you find that you can come at the last minute, please do as there will be plenty of food!

Music at Taughannock

Let’s meet at Taughannock for their summer concert series.  Admission is $7 unless you have a parks pass.  If you come just for the concert, parking will be $5.  We will meet at some picnic tables near the playground at 5pm on August 20th and transition to the concert around 7pm when it starts.  Bring a picnic dinner, some chairs, and a swim suit if you want to swim.  See you there!

Annual Church Camping Trip 2016

Come out to Chenango Valley State Park and enjoy hiking, swimming and getting to know some other BG families.  The church camping trip is from July 14-17 (3 nights)  on the Pine Bluff loop.  At this point there are only 5 sites left on that loop. To reserve a site go to Chenango Valley State Park.  Once you have reserved your site, please contact Don Burgett (email address below).

If not camping, consider coming out for the day to fellowship on Saturday, July 16th.  You should bring a picnic lunch, bathing suit, towel and lawn chair.  We look forward to seeing you there! Come early and enjoy a pancake breakfast (bring your own meat and pancake toppings) or stay late for the campfire and sing-along.  Questions? Small Groups

There are many small groups meeting weekly or biweekly throughout the Dryden, Ithaca, Lansing, Newfield, and Trumansburg areas. Check out a list here. Most of these groups will be studying the Word by following the Believe curriculum. Each week participants become engaged with a particular topic beginning with the sermon on Sunday, and reading the appropriate chapter in the book on their own, then watching an introductory video before sharing in a discussion during the small group meeting.

The small group ministry at Bethel Grove seeks to connect people into deeper relationships with one another, by praying and studying the word together, as well as by serving each other and the larger community of Ithaca and surrounding towns.

If you have not already joined a small group in your area and would like to, please contact Pastor Santosh Ninan at
