THE GOSPEL IN LIFE / PRODIGAL GOD
Facilitators: Doug Weber and Charlie Cramton
Location: Ministry Center Large Room
This class will cover two of Tim Keller’s study series: “Gospel in Life: Grace Changes Everything,” and “Prodigal God: Finding Your Place at the Table.” Each week we will view a short DVD presentation by Tim Keller, followed by discussion of the week’s topic and its practical application to our lives. The Gospel in Life series in an 8-week course on the Gospel and how it is lived out in all of life – first in our hearts, then in our community, and then out into the world. Prodigal God is a 4-week series that opens our eyes to the powerful message of Jesus' best-known -- and least understood -- parable. The Prodigal God is a revelation of the very heart of the gospel: God's radical love for sinners of every kind.

INTEGRATING FAITH AND STUDIES
Facilitator: Pat Wright
Location: Family Center
This class is aimed at undergrad and grad students (though open to everyone) and will focus on how students can integrate their faith with their majors and their future careers. We will explore basic worldview questions such as "Where do I come from?" "What went wrong in the world?" "How do we fix it?" and "What's my purpose?" The class will emphasize identifying the conflicting worldviews students face in classes, articulating clearly and logically a biblical worldview, applying the biblical worldview to your area of study, and using that worldview to develop a plan for serving God in your career.
10:45 – 12:00 Session

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MARK
Facilitators: Hrair Missirian and Bob Creech
Location: Ministry Center Living Room
"Nothing hinders evangelism more than a loss of confidence in the truth, relevance and power of the gospels." - John Stott.
So, how's your knowledge of and confidence in God's Word? Suppose you were given a copy of Mark's Gospel and were encouraged to read it for yourself as a new book: What kind of book would it seem to you? What is its message? Is its main character believable as Son of God, Son of Man? What would you tell others about the book? Join us this fall for an inductive study of Jesus as recorded by Mark. Come join us for prayer and fellowship as we share our lives together. We meet 10:45 AM to 12 PM in the Family Center
September 12 - December 12
BIBLE STUDY – GROWING IN GRACE
Facilitators: Susan Barr and Others
Location: Seminar Room
“For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart”. - Hebrews 4:12
Studying the Scriptures involves more than a cursory reading of the text; it is an intentional commitment to understand God's truths and apply them to ourselves and our lives. Scripture study leads to a greater appreciation of the character of God and helps transform us more and more into the likeness of Christ (2 Cor 3:18). It is exciting! In this class we will examine and practice creative ways of engaging Scripture and Christian disciplines. Together we will consider learning styles, wiring, and giftedness as we search for methods that strike a chord for each of us. This is art for the uncoordinated, poetry for engineers, prayer for the apathetic, and maturity for the formerly unmotivated.
