cloudsWelcome to Bethel Grove!

Here is what you can expect on a Sunday morning.

To help ease that “Where do I go?” and “What do I do?” feeling, here is what you can expect on Sunday morning:

Parking is available in front of the Family Center (near Route 79) and behind the church building. The spaces in front of the church are reserved for individuals with wheelchairs or needing assistance to our wheelchair accessible front door. A greeter is available at each door to guide you, and there is a Welcome Desk in the foyer where all kinds of information is available.

Childcare and children’s educational options are available during both services. If interested, you may inquire at the Welcome Desk for the Kingdom Kids schedule and directions to the classrooms.

From September to May there are two worship services (9:00am and 11:00am.) In the summer there is one blended service (10:00am.) The worship at 9:00am is traditional in style, with hymns and choruses sung to organ and piano accompaniment. The service at 11:00am is contemporary in style, led by a worship team with string instruments, drums and vocalists. Some songs lend themselves to clapping or lifting up the hands—not for everyone, but for those who want to express their worship in such a way. With both styles, the Bible is the central focus.

Because there are always visitors to Bethel Grove, we often take a moment during our time together to greet the people around us. This gives the opportunity for a handshake and quick introduction. You may find yourself greeting another first time visitor like yourself.

In addition to music and song, the worship service includes readings from the Bible, and a time of prayer for those who are sick or in need.

During the service ushers collect gifts we give back to God out of the abundance with which He has blessed us. The church and its ministries are funded by these gifts. All giving is private and personal between each person and God. If you would like to introduce yourself, request prayer, or communicate with the pastoral staff, you may use the cards provided in the rows. The cards can be placed in the offering plate as it goes by or left at the Welcome Desk after the service.

For about 30 minutes, one of the Pastors teaches from the Bible, at times using Powerpoint to assist in the learning experience. The whole service lasts about 70 minutes. Listen to past sermons online.

We hope this gives you an idea of what to expect when you arrive. We are looking forward to meeting you!
