On The Edge of 2024

Dear Friends,
Standing on the edge of 2024 invokes many questions and emotions. International conflicts and economic uncertainties, as well as individual challenges, often tempt us to retreat into perceived “safe places.” What’s true personally also can be true of any global outreach ministry.

In many ways, walking into a new year requires us to look back. We need to reflect and remember the gift of God’s presence through past years. Doing so encourages us to grasp onto God’s faithful promise to be with us in our unknown 2024 journey. We are assured that God knows what is ahead. Our trust must be in Him as we go through each day of the new year.

During these last days of 2023, it was good to record ministry highlights spelled out in the 2023 In Review document (copies available in the church lobby).

After taking a few minutes to read it, I encourage you to do the same action for yourself. Spend time reviewing the events of this year and then record the many ways the Lord faithfully has been with you each step of the way. Then, let’s step into 2024 assured of God’s promised presence with us!

We are grateful for your ongoing prayers, support, and encouragement. As we look forward to what the Lord has prepared for us in the new year, your partnership is making an eternal difference. Thanks for standing with our global partners and us! Happy New Year!
