Kingdom Kids
Imagine arriving at our church campus as a visitor to the Egg Scramble, and seeing the lawns covered with colorful plastic eggs. A group of smiling faces are there to greet new arrivals and tell them about the many activities being offered. Inside, adults are enjoying homemade baked goods and a cup of hot coffee. Outside, children are taking turns petting a baby lamb. Several are waiting in line for face paint, and a whole mob is gathered around a balloon artist. In a quiet corner, a group is gathered around a table making festive seasonal crafts and planting flower seeds.

In the woods, a tour guide is walking a group of families through four different story stations. At each point, a storyteller shares a story about Jesus’ life, then gives a small treat or activity related to the story.
A voice announces over a megaphone, “It’s time for the egg hunt!” Eager children run to the edge of the lawn, bags and baskets in hand. They gather the eggs and exchange them for a goodie bag containing treats, an Easter storybook, info about BG, and jelly beans with a gospel rhyme attached.
The Egg Scramble is not just an outreach event to families in our community, but also a time for our own attenders to fellowship together through service.

Where can you see yourself in this scene? This is an event where anyone can serve! Help spread the word to people in your own circles. Please share the invitation and get in touch if you’d like to be on the team!

Fellowship & Outreach
The Fellowship and Outreach committee is working closely with Heidi to plan fun activities for children and to create a hospitality area for parents and guardians. It was great to connect community families with BG last year and we look forward to this incredible opportunity once again. The hospitality area will have coffee, tea, and juice along with baked goods to enjoy.
We continue to seek volunteers to fill various roles both prior and during the event. If you can help, please stop by the sign-up table in the lobby or reach out to Heidi, Rick, or Donna (rick_geo@msn.com, dlgeorge105@gmail.com.
