Alan works at the Cornell synchrotron as a mechanical engineer, designing lab equipment for x-ray experiments. At BG Youth he loves meeting students and creating a community as part of God’s kingdom. He likes to play and watch sports, play & listen to music, and build & ride scooters.

Miranda is a stay-at-home mom. She works with the youngest and oldest  populations in different capacities. She enjoys serving with BG Youth because it allows her to foster relationships with teens for 4 short years, share in the highs and lows, and to help see those highs and lows through a God-glorifying lens. `She likes growing flowers and playing basketball. 

Jesse attended BG Youth as a student from 2013 to 2020. BG Youth had a tremendous impact on his life and faith journey, and he is looking forward to walking alongside students in their own faith journeys. He works as a land surveyor, and enjoys hiking, biking, camping, playing guitar, and playing games.

Emily has lived in the Ithaca area since 2018 and is a stay-at-home mom. Besides volunteering with BG Youth, she also serves with BG’s Kingdom Kids, Global Missions Committee and BG’s Counseling Team.  She has a degree in Art History from UMN-Twin cities and Biblical Counseling Certification from Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF). She enjoys painting, hiking, reading and a good cup of Masala Chai.

Teddy is BG’s Pastor of Student Ministries and is from Southern India. He came to Ithaca as an international student for an MS in Plant Breeding & Genetics at Cornell. He has been part of BG since 2012. He is married to Emily and they have two children. Teddy enjoys hanging out with people, hiking, and playing sports.
