BG FALL KICKOFF

Autumn is right around the corner! New and returning College students, people moving into the area, and Bethel Grove (BG) attendees, we welcome you all to our Fall Kickoff!

During the Sunday service, Pastor Matt Raley will interview three of our outreach ministries being offered at BG. After the Sunday service proceed downstairs and into our parking lot which will be transformed into a meeting place with food, live music, and activities.

Who doesn’t love a piece of pie in the fall, and the smell of it baking in your kitchen? If you are now feeling like it, you can bake one for our pie contest. We will have pies for our pastors to judge, then we will share the pies with everyone. Any kind of pie – and you don’t have to be the best baker – just up for a little competition.

Speaking of competition, we will also have a chess match. We have a couple of young chess prodigies who are looking for others interested in sharpening their skills or learning how to play. There is no pressure at this match though, unless you want it. So, sign up for the match and test your chess skills or learn a new skill. It only takes a few minutes to learn to play chess but a lifetime to perfect it.

BG has an application called Church Center, which is a great source of useful information. There will be an opportunity to sign up with your smart phone so you can get connected. Our ministry list with contact information will be available. Ministry team members will be present to give you an opportunity to learn more about those ministries.

There will be raffles by various ministries who will give away some items of their choice. Some items may be representative of their specific ministries. We will have face painting, a craft table, a fire pit for toasting smores and mini hot dogs, and Amazing Pete will be there making balloon creations. We hope to see you there.
