A Meal to Bring Us Together

There is something deeply meaningful about sharing a meal together.

As a church family, we grow stronger when we gather — when we sit at the same tables, learn each other’s stories, and remember that God builds His people through ordinary moments of fellowship as much as through sermons and songs.

Next Sunday, September 27, after Christian Education, we invite you to join us for a church‑wide potluck. It’s a simple meal, but it carries a beautiful purpose: strengthening the bonds of our church community. When we gather, we practice the kind of shared life Scripture calls us to — encouraging one another, welcoming newcomers, and reminding each other that no one walks alone.

If you are able, please bring a dish to share. You can choose from these categories:

Main dishes
Sides or salads
Breads
Desserts

Drinks will be provided.

Please bring enough for 8–10 people if you’re contributing food. But whether you bring something or not, your presence is the most important part of the meal. Come sit with us, laugh with us, and let’s continue building a church family rooted in love, hospitality, and shared life.

Aaron, Anna, Bethany, Holly

In the midst of all this connecting, we will pause to enjoy a different type of bonding: taking time to rejoice together over our brother and sister, Aaron and Holly Hicks, who recently returned to the US after 20+ years of ministry in Spain. They will share of the Lord’s faithfulness as he worked in, through, and around them while there. It is sure to be an encouragement for all!
