BG Church Picnic

The annual Bethel Grove picnic is just around the corner on Sunday July 19. This is a wonderful event to bring our Bethel Grove family, guests and newcomers together to enjoy really great food and fellowship. We will meet rain or shine under the huge white tent that has been there all week behind the Family Center for Nature Camp. Families that have participated in Nature Camp who don’t attend BG will be invited to join us. You’re encouraged to invite your neighbors and colleagues to attend as well. It is a chance to come and relax after the church service for a time of connecting with one another. You may introduce yourself to someone you haven’t met yet or just catch up with someone you already know. The picnic is a dish to pass with meat and drinks provided by the church. There is always a variety of amazing casseroles, fruits, vegetables, snacks and desserts to choose from. There will also be activities such as making bubbles, and games for children to participate in throughout the picnic. It is a delight to see the children playing with one another and having a great time.

Help is needed to make this picnic possible! Please consider volunteering as there are many tasks that need to be completed such as grilling, set-up and serving to name a few. There is a sign-up sheet in the church lobby with specific ways you can participate to help out. Our volunteers have a good time working together for a great purpose. It is likely that you will meet and make some new friends while serving shoulder to shoulder to bless all who attend.

We are looking forward to seeing you there! Please be in touch with Rick and Donna George, Fellowship and Outreach Committee, Chairs (rick_geo@msn.com or dlgeorge105@gmail.com).
