John 20.1 says that Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early in the morning while it was still dark. I looked it up: the sun will rise here at 6:41 on Easter morning. For us, it won’t be dark when we gather at 7 am, but we will still receive the blessing of celebrating our Lord’s resurrection early in the morning!

How will we celebrate? We will read the Word, we will sing, we will hear testimonies, and we will share a meal.
This is a beautiful time for our congregation to come together, but also a beautiful time to introduce friends and family to the message of the gospel. Invite them! The Scriptures and songs have been carefully chosen to present the gift of resurrection life in the kingdom of Christ. Five people will encourage us with testimonies of God’s movement in their lives. Come ready to experience joy and amazement.
Also, come hungry. Our chef, Sam Senner and several others are preparing a breakfast feast for you. As you enjoy a mouthwatering meal, you can continue to discuss the spiritual food you have just received.

When Mary stood outside the tomb, she was looking for the Body of her Lord, but she found something abundantly better. She experienced the Living Christ. Because of Easter, each of us can experience the Living Christ as well. Come, let’s celebrate together!
Sign up today at the table in the back. The service will take place at 7am on Easter, April 5, in the family center. The service and breakfast will finish by 9:00 so there is time to make your way to the sanctuary for our 9:30 Easter service. I can’t wait!!!
