Fall Kickoff 2023 – Fellowship, Food, & Fun

You might remember last year’s ministry fair and its shoutout to all things football. Information highlighting each BG ministry was passed between “players” on the four E teams of Equip, Evangelize, Exalt, and Encourage in an attempt to recruit new team members. Fall Kickoff is back but the 2023 version has a new twist. What had been E teams have evolved into committees – Discipleship, Global Missions, Local Ministries, Fellowship and Outreach, Worship, Prayer, and Administration and Finance. The goal of this restructuring is for BG to more effectively fulfill our mission of “discovering Jesus, growing in faith, walking in His purpose, and impacting our world.”

Everyone is encouraged to attend this showcase after worship on September 17th. While sipping a coffee and eating some delicious food, discover how God’s people at BG join together to invest their unique gifts to display His glory.

Sing or play an instrument? Love to meet and greet people? Passionate about praying, or teaching the children or youth? Drawn to numbers and administration? See yourself in local ministries or global missions? There’s something for everyone.

Prayerfully consider how God has made you. Talk to the folks stationed around the fair. Think about how you might fit into the body of believers at Bethel Grove. If everyone plugs in and exercises their gifts, just think of how healthy our body will be!

Included again this year is a Kingdom Kids and BG Youth tent. Families and anyone interested in serving our children or youth will want to connect with Heidi King, Teddy Yesudasan, or Alan Pauling.

And there’s no need to rush home to lunch. We’ve got you covered. Pulled pork, chili dogs, watermelon, and various snacks will be served, with tent space available for folks who need to sit a spell.
