A big “thank you” goes out to Bethel Grove for all of your support with Operation Christmas Child. We had a great National Collection Week at the Drop Off Center located on our church campus in the Family Center (white building). 737 shoeboxes were collected! Bethel Grove was responsible for 107 of these boxes. 21 Drop Off Center volunteers spent 124.5 hours packing these shoeboxes into large cartons and then loading the cartons into a U-Haul truck to start on their journey overseas to share the love of Christ with children.
I would personally like to give a heartfelt thanks to…
- every individual in our congregation who packed a shoe box.
- all of my Drop Off Center volunteers (especially my husband Herb and MaryAnn Merithew who went above and beyond in supporting the work of Operation Christmas Child)
- Pastor Matt and Dee Dee for all of their support.

- the Cornell University Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
- the Ithaca College Lighthouse Christian Fellowship.
- Kingdom Kids for bringing the shoeboxes forward to be blessed.
